Aksay sity

Burlinskiy district is formed on June 30, 1935, on the existing borders the area is created in 1965. It is located in a northeast part of the West Kazakhstan region. The district borders with three regions of West Kazakhstan region and in the north down the river the Urals with the Orenburg region of the Russian Federation. The territory of the district occupies the space of 5556 thousand sq.m. The population for December 1, 2016 constitutes 55393 people, including Aksay – 38388 people, average density of population (on 1 sq.km of the territory) - 9,8 people. In the territory of the district of 31 settlements, including 14 rural districts: Akbulaksky, Aleksandrovsky, Aksusky, Burlinsky, Bumakolsky, Berezovsky, Zharsuatsky, Kentubeksky, Kanaysky, Karaganda, Pugachevsky, Priuralny, Uspenovsky and town of Aksay. The center of the district is located in the Aksay town. Distance from the district center to the Uralsk town of-140 km.
